Refunds and Returns:

Your support and satisfaction mean the world to me and are a top priority. However, please be advised:

*All problems, complaints, concerns etc. with an order must be made within 3 days of receiving the items if purchased at a location or delivered personally by Angela's Wax Melts OR within 3 days of the USPS delivery date. 

*RETURNS OF ANY KIND WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT A VALID RECEIPT OR PROOF OF PURCHASE.

*RETURNS MADE BACK TO "ANGELA'S WAX MELTS" WILL BE AT THE EXPENSE OF THE RECEIVER.

*REFUNDS OF ANY KIND WILL NOT  BE ISSUED WITHOUT A VALID RECEIPT OF THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE. Situations will vary and refunds if issued may be partial, full, an agreed upon amount or a credit/discount for future purchases.

*ALL discounted/discontinuing items are SOLD AS IS. NO RETURNS. NO REFUNDS. ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

*ALL "made to order/custom" items (Baskets, Candles, Melts, etc.) must be prepaid unless prior arrangements have been made.

*If items are purchased through Amazon you will have to contact amazon to address your issue. 

  

*Items that are shipped: I do my absolute best to make sure that your shipment will reach you in the best possible condition. Quite a few of my items cannot be replaced and are one of a kind items. Damaged items are not good for you and not good for business. Please notify me within 3 days of receiving your shipment if it arrived to you damaged; broken candles, broken warmers, broken home items (no discounted/discontinuing items). You will need to submit photos of the outside of the box or container you received your item(s) in. You will need to submit pictures of the damaged items. This is so that I can process a claim with the carrier if necessary. 
*Claims/Refunds for damaged items will not be handled without photos AND a valid receipt/proof of purchase. 
*Damage to Wax Melt cups can happen. It does not affect the integrity of the melt nor affect the way it will melt. Angela's Wax Melts will NOT REFUND your money for damaged wax melt containers. 


*WAX WARMERS: All warmers are in good working condition, if not brand new and still in the box when I receive them and or you purchase them. I do not work for, endorse or sell for any company that makes wax warmers of any kind (electric or candle light). If a warmer is damaged upon shipping please see above. You have 3 days to submit your claim and you must provide pictures and a valid receipt/proof of purchase. Since I do not sell, endorse or work for any warmer company I cannot guarantee that I can replace the exact warmer that was broken/damaged. I may demo warmers from various makers and add their links. My opinions, thoughts are my own. If you decide to make a purchase that is on you. I can and will try to get an exact replacement. If an exact replacement cannot be found I will try to get you something similar or issue you a refund or credit. Situations will vary and may not all be handled the same. 
*Partial money may be refunded for warmers that were part of a basket and or bundle deal. Money will not be refunded to you if the item was a "prize". A like prize may be substituted.

*ISSUANCE OF REFUNDS: Refunds will be issued back to the paying account if made through Paypal or Square (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express). Refunds for items purchased with cash at a location (shop, show, etc) will be handled through Angela's Wax Melts and not through the location where the items were purchased. Refunds may be issued as a credit for future purchases. Situations vary case by case.

*SHIPPING FOR RETURNS: You can return an item to "Angela's Wax Melts" but if shipping is needed it will be at your cost to get the item(s) returned to me. Please contact me to make arrangements.

*I (Angela's Wax Melts) reserve the right to deny or refuse any returns or refunds. I (Angela's Wax Melts) reserve the right to make changes and or updates to these statements/policies as needed. Please contact me as soon as possible if you have any comments, questions or concerns.

Shipping and Delivery:

-BEFORE YOU SELECT "LOCAL PICKUP/DELIVERY" YOU MUST CONTACT ANGELA to make arrangements. Not doing so will delay your order. Please use the "chat box" on the page to contact me. The messages come right to my phone and I will get with you ASAP.

-I only offer FREE delivery to the Village of Ashville, Ohio. You must still contact me to make arrangments. If you do not live in Ashville, Ohio but would like to pickup in Ashville, I meet at the IGA. In the past I traveled more due to family engagements.  That is not the case anymore and I no longer travel as many areas as I used to. If you want to do one big order "party style" I can make arrangements to do that. Please contact me for more details. 

-You can arrange to pick up orders at Yesteryears Antiques in Lithopolis Ohio 

-If you are outside of Ashville there may be a delivery charge. I am not a pizza delivery person nor do I work for Fed Ex or any other delivery service. Most companies use a delivery service or pay a person to make deliveries. Most places do not personally deliver to your door. The USPS is the best and most cost effective delivery service that I use. 

-I will NOT deliver to home addresses outside of Ashville, Ohio. For my safety and yours meetings for pickup/drop off will ONLY be conducted at PUBLIC PLACES and ONLY DURING DAYLIGHT HOURS.   

-Due to my schedule and yours I will meet with you as soon as possible. 

-Please be advised that there may be a delivery charge; at my discretion. 

-Please DO NOT CHECK OUT if you have questions or are unsure of anything.

Effective 10/12/2023 shipping charges will be calculated by the USPS in real time. Shippo is now being used and there are some "kinks" in the system. I will advise you asap if there is a discrepancy with shipping rates and proceed as necessary. Orders $35.00 and up will receive FREE Shipping (no code needed). This applies to online orders only. This does NOT apply to custom orders! Valid until 01/31/2024 unless otherwise stated. I do provide tracking numbers for all shipments. Shipping usually takes 3-5 business days. Custom orders and candles may take longer. You will be contacted ahead of time and if there are any delays. At this time I am only able to ship in the United States (ALL 50 STATES). I have been speaking with international carriers to find the best rates and will update as soon as possible. There is no charge for "Local Pickup" but please make sure to contact me and schedule a pickup time and location! I try to be as flexible as possible. If we are scheduled to meet and you do not show up and do not contact me, your order may be cancelled and you may be refunded minus a fee for my time. Local Pickup/Meet will be no more than 15/20 minutes away and only if arrangements have been made.

Wax and Fragrances:

Angela's Wax Melts, Wax Melts and Candles are made with paraffin/100% soy wax blend. I use the best quality fragrance oils I can find.  Almost all of the fragrance oils used are phthalate free. If I do not like the way a fragrance is performing I will not continue to use it and will try and find a better option.    

Wax Melts Specs:

Angela's Wax Melts, Wax Melts are approximately 1.1oz each in the round style which is being discontinued. New packs contain 4 shaped wax melts for a total of 1.1oz.  Melts are made with a paraffin/100% soy wax blend. I use the best quality fragrance oils I can find. Almost all of the fragrance oils used are phthalate free. If I do not like the way a fragrance is performing I will not continue to use it and will try and find a better option. I do not use essential oils for my products.    

Payment Methods:

When shopping online at Angela's Wax Melts you can pay with PayPal or Credit/Debit card. Cards accepted are Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. I cannot and do not see your personal/confidential information. When shopping at an event payment methods may be; cash, Venmo, Paypal, Visa, Mastercard, Discover and/or American Express (at my discretion).

-In some circumstances I can send you an invoice for your purchases. At that time you may pay using all of the above listed methods and Venmo, Zelle if needed.

-If you purchase at a shop or event (craft show, home sale, etc.) the payment methods are the same and include cash. Angela's Wax Melts does not accept checks (unless prior arrangements have been made). ALL custom made items MUST be PREPAID this includes items not listed on the site. Ex. You contact me to make an item that I do not have listed. I will send you an invoice via email. The invoice will have a link so that you can pay with PayPal or Credit/Debit card. No custom items will be shipped or delivered without payment!  

Made to Order Candles:

"Made to Order Candles" are made to order. You pick the container, you pick the scent and when applicable the color. Candles need to "cure" at least 3-5 days before they are ready for use. Please allow me 3 to 5 days to properly make and cure your candles. Orders with more than 3 candles may take longer. I will always advise you on how long your order should take when you place your order. Communication is key and quality and your satisfaction are my top priorities. Items are shipped as soon as possible. See "Refunds & Returns" above for more information. "Made to Order Candles", you may return it back to me but you may not get a refund as they were made per your instruction and some options are "one of a kind". Orders containing "Made to Order Candles" will not be started until payment has been received (unless other arrangements have been made).   

Proper Candle Care:
  • NEVER leave a candle unattended.  

  • Do not leave your candle within reach of pets or kids.   

  • Do not burn your candle next to or on something that can easily catch fire.   

  • Do not burn a candle that has been cracked or broken. 

  • Keep the candle free of any debris.   

  • Never burn a candle for longer than 4 hours.  After 4 hours you should extinguish the flame and allow the wax to settle before trimming the wick and re-lighting.  If you burn a candle for longer than 4 hours the wick will continue getting longer and burn with an unsafe flame that could cause blackening on the jar and overheating issues.   

  • Do not pick up a jar after a recent burn.  Allow it to cool for a few minutes before moving it as the jar may be hot.  

  •  Burn your candle for a minimum of one hour each time.  Constant "short burns" could cause tunneling. 

  • Keep your wick trimmed to about 1/4 inch above the wax level.  Trim after each use. 

  • Do not extinguish the flame with the lid or water. 

  • You should stop use when the wax level reaches about 1/4 inch.
